Color Me Blessed

All of last year Carter's favorite color was green and Deacon's favorite color was orange. But times they are a'changin'.

Carter (5½ yrs): Mom, my new favorite color is blue, red, and yellow.

Me: Good choices. Those are the primary colors. What's your favorite color, Deacon?

Deacon (3 yrs): Blue, red, purple, green, yellow, orange

Me: All the colors?

Deacon: Rainbow colors.

Personally, I find it pretty interesting that with Carter's primary colors you are able to create all of Deacon's rainbow colors. That's a very fitting reflection of them at this moment in time.
